Is
it enough…?! Is it fair…?!
I
was asking myself, till when... till when the stress will continue...till when
the busy life will go ahead…till when?!
Studying
in the field of education, for a teaching diploma, from 2:00pm till 5:00pm after
a full-busy day teaching in two schools for the intermediate cycle requires a
lot of work from 5:00 pm till after midnight…till 3:00 to 4:00 am and then
sleeping till 6:00 pm to start a new fruitful day. This brings a lot of stress
to our bodies and tears down our social interactions without any additional
financial rewards.
So
to continue surviving this stressful life, governments and schools should be
more aware to take such daily happening cases into consideration with hundreds
of Lebanese educators and graduates.
Sleeping
for approximately six hours maybe enough for the human body to relax and
productively withstand with the new days it may survive.
Also
sleeping is a necessity and essential for our brains to relax and settle the
information gained and thought of during the day without even a single moment
stoppage during the stressful day.
According
to me it is unfair to work, teach and learn for such amount of hours with these
low salaries and high university payment with the demolishment of the social
interaction and the lack of relaxation and sleeping hours.
I agree with you that this type of life is very stressful but I guess this is what adds up to us being more resilient and better able to handle life problems. But, yes, this should come with financial ewards too.
